Dentonia Announces Extension Of Tungsten Discovery On Knight Inlet Area Claims
August 31, 2009

Dentonia Resources Ltd. (“the Company”) is pleased to announce tungsten (“W”) assay results of channel samples from a second skarn outcrop (“the Upper Skarn”) on the Company’s Knight Inlet claims.  The Upper Skarn is located approximately 60m elevation above and 60m on-strike with the tungsten discovery skarn.

  • Significant 1m interval results were obtained between 0.11% and 0.27% tungsten tri-oxide (“WO3”).
  • The mineralization is similar on both showings.
  • Samples near and above 1,000ppm (0.1%) tungsten, are being re-analyzed with a detection limit of 10,000ppm.

Two channels were sawn and sampled under the supervision and control of James Turner, P. Geo. - a 7m channel (samples USL-1 to USL-7) and an adjacent 3m channel (USB-1 to USB-3). The channels were sampled in one meter intervals reported in the table below.

Samples were assayed by IPL in Richmond, BC using the Fusion ICP 30 element method with a 1,000ppm detection limit.  Pulps from four samples above this detection limit are being re-analyzed with a 10,000ppm detection limit (samples USL-3, -5, & -6 and USLB-1 and USLB-2).

The 29,603ha Knight Inlet claims are located approximately 80kms north of Campbell River, BC.  Access is by boat, seaplane or helicopter to Fraser Bay at the head of Loughborough Inlet.  The tungsten discovery area can be easily reached by an 11km-logging road inland from Fraser Bay.
