Dentonia Resources Ltd. (“Dentonia”) is pleased to announce that on March 3, 2010 a second-phase rock panel sample was taken by hand from the tungsten showing on the 29,603 Stafford Tungsten claims. The 800kg sample was transported from the showing by helicopter to Campbell River and by vehicle to CDN Resource Laboratories Ltd. in Langley, BC. The sampling and transportation was carried out under the supervision of James Turner, P. Geo., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
The panel sample was taken from a four square meter area of the showing as a continuation of the initial 100kg panel sample reported by Dentonia on October 14, 2009, which averaged 1.59% W (tungsten) equating to 2.01% WO3 (tungsten tri-oxide). The 2 samples will be combined, crushed and blended by CDN, and assaying will be carried out by 10 international laboratories selected by CDN. The results will then be returned to CDN for final computation.
The two-fold objective of the panel sampling is to:
- determine more accurately the tungsten value of the 900kg sample; and
- produce assaying standards which will be used for control of assaying results from proposed diamond drilling on the Stafford Tungsten project.
The Stafford Tungsten Claims are located approximately 80km north of Campbell River, BC. Access is by boat, seaplane or helicopter to Fraser Bay at the head of Loughborough Inlet. The tungsten showing can be reached either by helicopter or by an 11km logging road inland from Fraser Bay.
